Survey request regarding mental health issues for people with diabetes

Could you help a team of researchers at the University of Southampton who are exploring mental health issues for people with Type 1 diabetes or Type 2 diabetes? If you can, they need your help!

Prof Richard Holt explains, “We are conducting a survey to learn more about behavioural health (also called mental health) in people with diabetes in order to improve care in this area. This is a difficult topic, and we would very much appreciate the input of people with diabetes to help us better support those struggling with behavioural health issues.”

Who are we looking for? We are looking for adults who have Type 1 diabetes or Type 2 diabetes.

What are we doing? We would like you to complete a short survey about mental health issues associated with living with diabetes. The survey is anonymous and completely confidential.

Why do we need your help? We know that the risks of mental health challenges are higher among people with diabetes, but we do not know about people’s experiences of these or what support they would find useful from their healthcare team.
