A key theme in this issue, and increasingly within diabetes care, is how people are achieving improved time in range (TIR). It’s a manner of attaining improved control through the use – mainly – of CGM (however it can be achieved through multiple blood tests too). A thorough report by JDRF addresses the impact of Covid-19 on the care system, with a list of recommendations for the NHS diabetes care system going forward.

Plus, some fun and recognition of NHS diabetes teams up and down the land with awards given to teams in the Sanofi-sponsored Quality in Care Awards.
