Take part in World Diabetes Day

This year, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with World Diabetes Day. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is focusing this year’s theme on promoting the role of nurses in the prevention and management of diabetes.

Visit the campaign website to learn more, view the resources available and find out how you can support the campaign. If you’re planning a diabetes awareness activity, you can share information and images with the IDF on its online platform.

To mark World Diabetes Day 2020, the IDF is organising a Twitter chat on The Role of the Nurse in Diabetes Care. The virtual conversation takes place on Friday, 13 November at 1500 CET and is open to anyone on Twitter. To take part, use #DiabetesChat and tag @WDD in every post.
