Latest issue! State of the Unions looks at companies and devices working with each other

There’s an update with Dexcom’s CEO Kevin Sayer (p.8) about other uses for CGM beyond measuring blood glucose. I’ve also interviewed the creator of a new app, called Intellin, about how his T2 diagnosis inspired the idea (p.12). We’ve also spoken to a couple of experienced social media users to ask their advice about staying safe on line (by that we mean about being emotionally safe, not cyber security). See Our Friends Electric on p. 22.

Then there’s a DSN who talked about best practice skin care for CGM and infusion set users for the article Skin Deep (p.30). Those things can get itchy! Read about the removal technique ‘low and slow’. The cover story, State of the Unions (p.24), is about how the big diabetes tech companies are increasingly talking and working together to improve compatibility so that there’s more choice for people with diabetes to choose the kit that’s best for their specific circumstances.

Many of us might have put travel plans on hold, but medical ID always has relevance – home or away – and the designs are much better than they used to be, honest! Read more on p. 28.
