Winter care for diabetic feet

winter-feet-2_smallPeople with diabetes should have their feet checked at least annually and should also be taught how to look after their feet themselves, but in many cases this is not provided by the NHS. The charity IDDT wants to help reduce the risks of foot damage so it has published a new, free booklet called Diabetes – Looking After Your Feet, designed to help people to look after their feet by knowing what to look for and when to seek treatment to keep their feet healthy.
