Latest issue: A report on JDRF’s Input Fusion diabetes technology conference

Apologies for a late update on this, we’re revamping the main desangdev.wpengine.com news website and are in what gets referred to as ‘development hell’ with things dragging on a bit. Will be worth it in the end! So news on the site and out via Facebook and Twitter has taken a bit of a hit. Nonetheless, October’s issue came out on time. It contained a detailed report on JDRF’s Input Fusion event, which focused on diabetes technology. Andy Slowey, a ‘looper’ explains his involvement with #wearenotwaiting and what DIY APS stands for. National Lead on Type 1 diabetes technology, Prof. Partha Kar sets out his plan for the future. And actor-comedian Jonsel Gourkan sparks a few laughs with a tongue-in-cheek assessment of his life with T1D.

We are also asking all readers to take part in our Reader Survey About US 2019. We haven’t done one since May 2017, so thought we ought to ask you how we’re doing. So do tell us! It all helps us to deliver the best features, issues and other projects that we can. Thanks to all who have responded so far. Next issue we’ll be asking “About YOU.”

Desang Diabetes Magazine is our free-to-receive digital journal (see below).
