Taking place on 1st June 2019 in Birmingham, this is an event for adults with T1D to chat with people with similar interests, listen to talks and exchange ideas.
The day will include an opening address by actor/comedian Jon-Sel Gourkan and a talk by engineer Andy Slowey about open-source solutions for MDI users as well as for pump users who don’t want to use artificial pancreas algorithms.
Both have Type 1 and following these there will be discussion groups on topics such as CGM access and there will also be an exhibition on diabetes technology companies.
Registration requires a donation of £10 per person and includes lunch and refreshments.
