Insulin pump insurance

With effect from 1 June 2018 Insulin Pump Insurance administered by Burnett and Associates introduced 24-hour contact centre support for both claims and service. The claims process has also been refreshed to be fully completed over the telephone to make it easier. All new policies are being sold under their CoverMe4 brand coverme4.co.uk/myinsulinpump

Burnett and Associates is a specialist insurance provider operating primarily in the technology sector. Local Primary Care Trusts actually own your pump (if you got yours via the NHS). However, PCTs recommend that you insure your pump for £3,500. Burnett and Associates have agreements with the major manufacturers so a replacement pump can be authorized and sent directly to you as quickly as possible. Medical equipment in general and insulin pumps in particular may not be covered on regular home insurance.

Existing customers: the new 24-hour contact number for existing customers is 0333-009-0170 (all calls are charged at local rate) – For more information visit burnett.co.uk/insulinpumpinsuranceclaims or email admin@burnett.co.uk

For new customers on the CoverMe4myinsulinpump product the new 24-hour contact number is 0333-999-7904 (all calls are charged at local rate). For more information visit coverme4.co.uk/myinsulinpump or email myinsulinpump@coverme4.co.uk
