Dad to run 100km to raise money for a cure for Type 1

Simon Vinnicombe is a ‘Type 1 Dad’, which is to say he’s the father of a child with Type 1 diabetes. Tomorrow (Saturday 30th September) he is running 100km for JDRF because, he says, “I want to help fund research to find a cure for T1.”

Read about Vinnicombe’s son, George, who is the reason for this huge undertaking, at George’s run for Type 1 or listen to a webcast that was given at the House of Lords in which Vinnicombe took part, along with support from JDRF: house-of-lords-speech
