Colour-coded blood test results

Colour Coded Blood Test ResultThe new One Touch Select Plus is the new meter from Lifescan features a neat 3-colour ‘Range Indicator’ that shows your test result to be blue, green or red indicating if you are low, in range or high. You can personalize these target ranges too, best done in agreement with an HCP (whether GP or at clinic) to understand and agree the high and low limits that are right for you. Following early use of this newest meter in the One Touch range, 9 out of 10 users were better able to interpret blood glucose values into appropriate ranges.

With this meter you can also do ‘meal tagging’ too, which allows you to see how food choices affect your results. The meter uses OneTouch Select Plus test strips which are available on prescription, but check first if they are available from your GPs as there may be regional variations due to policies from different CCGs.
