The 15th Anniversary Diabetes Wellness Weekend (and Crystal Ball) takes place, from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September. This annual event is aimed at people living with diabetes and those with an interest in diabetes, who would like to learn more about the condition and improve their lifestyle and personal management. An exciting mixture of talks, workshops, gentle exercise classes, exhibitors, entertainment and mixing with like minded people will make this special anniversary event one to remember.
This is the DRWFs 15th anniversary ball, which takes place at Boathouse No. 7 in the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Tickets for the event are £40 per head. The evening starts with a greeting by the Fort Cumberland Guard performing a musket firing across the harbour then there will be a bugle call to dinner. The three course meal includes a half bottle of wine per person and it will be followed by a greeting from our chairman and then the live auction will be hosted by Charles Hanson from TVs Antiques Road Trip.
