Medical Technology Group insulin pump survey

The Medical Technology Group (MTG), of which JDRF is a member, is currently working on a report into the societal and economic benefits of medical technology. One of the technologies that the report focuses on is insulin pump therapy. If you use an insulin pump, or your child does, and you would like to take part in a survey that will provide information to the MTG about your experience of pump use, please click here to go to the survey.

The MTG is the UK’s leading coalition of patient groups, research charities and medical device manufacturers who work together towards improving access to cost-effective medical technologies. Uptake of medical technology in the UK is not as good as it should be, given its great potential to provide value for money to the NHS, patients and taxpayers. The MTG believes that patients and clinicians need better information about medical technologies so that they can make informed choices about their medical care.
JDRF would like to see everyone with type 1 diabetes who would benefit from using an insulin pump to have access to one. If you would like to get involved with our campaigning activities, go to our
1 Campaign website to find out how.
