Leather (black or tan) £22.99 (+p&p); plastic (blue) £16.99The Slim model is ideal for those who only use one insulin during the day, or those on an insulin pump. Pumpers still need to blood test, and it’s good practice to have a pack-up insulin pen handy ‘just in case’ you need it.

W: 12cm (4.7″)
D: 4cm (1.6″)
Wt: (when empty): 200g

Hi Frederick, that’s a good idea and I’ll bear it in mind for when we can further expand the range. In the meantime, I’m not actually aware of any diabetes carry case that has a belt hook. If I find one, I will let you know. — Sue

Hi,
I’m looking for a kit bag that will also keep my insulin cool. I have a couple of FRIO bags, but they’re not pretty. Plus they only keep my insulin cool, they’re not a carry everything kinda bag.
Thanks
Sufia

Sufia, our kitbags do not have in-built cool bags, but you can buy small ones that you can fit on. Or use a Frio pouch and put it inside one of our Roll-ups. Please also see this page on our site as it has more info on keeping insulin cool.

Hi Allan, sorry for slow reply! Yes, the Accu-Chek Mobile fits in neatly — both in the Slim and the Classic kitbags. No worries! Sue

Yes, the Classic has more space, but you can fit some spare lancets in any of the kitbags. Sue

I am looking for an ultra compact kitbag, so I can carry my meter in something smaller and more stylish than the black canvas thing it comes with. Are you developing anything along these lines?

Tom, not at the moment… we started designing kitbags that fitted both blood testing and insulin delivery stuff in — our smallest model is the Slim. We’ve since done a Pen Pack that’s just for insulin pens (two of them, as most of us use x2 insulins if we’re on a pen). You can look up Joe’s Small-in-one — we have those on our site, but are also on the testing+meds theme. Otherwise, you cal look around at other sorts of bags to see if you can find one you fancy, such as on Julie Slater’s site here. The problem with blood test meters is just that there are so many of them now! But I agree, those bags they come with are pretty rubbish! Sue
