In the USA there has been a small recall of Dexcom’s G4 Platinum and G5 mobile continuous glucose monitoring system receivers due to audible alarm failures. The recall related to specific models and manufacturing dates and only when the units, when tested, proofed to have defects with the jthe audible alarm not activating in the receiver piece when low or high glucose levels (hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia) were detected.
