I requested a replacement blood sugar meter to replace my old one, it over three years old. I have a breeze 2 tester. I asked for a replacement meter over two weeks ago and have run out of testing discs. Could you please tell me if I qualify for an exchange, or do I have to go to my G.P on a weekly basis? I thank you in advance for your prompt reply. yours Steve Holt.

    Hello Mr Holt,

Desang is a publishing company. While we cover diabetes products, and there are sometimes adverts from diabetes equipment suppliers, we do not stock or sell blood test meters. The Breeze blood test meter used to come from Bayer. It’s quite an old model. Bayer has since become Ascensia Diabetes Care in the UK. I would imagine that if you contact them, they should have you on record as a customer? If not, I’m sure they will help with a replacement meter, though I imagine it will be a different model. You can contact them via their website: https://diabetes.ascensia.co.uk/homepage/
    With best wishes, Sue
