Soulful Onepots are combined by hand to finely tuned recipes in the Soulful kitchen and gently slow-cooked, with no artificial preservatives. Choose from spicy British Pulled Beef Chilli which features black barley, or British Pulled Pork Stew with British chorizo. There’s a Moroccan Chicken Tagine made with organic British spelt and a Thai Green Chicken Curry which uses kelp noodles.The fifth dish is the award-winning veggie Butternut, Lentil & Spinach hotpot which has been delighting festival-goers for years. Ingredients like barley, spelt and butternut squash as well as beans, peas and lentils are all not only nutricious but are slow-release carbohydrates, meaning that they will not lead to blood-glucose ‘spikes’ and are therefore good for the diabetes diet. Carbohydrate contents are stated clearly on the labels too.
