Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has chosen to become JDRF’s President. Her Royal Highness made the decision to support us following her visit to JDRF research at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge earlier this year. Whilst there she met several of our scientists, T1 Youth Ambassadors and other supporters.
Everyone at JDRF is delighted that The Duchess of Cornwall has decided to work with them. Her involvement will help put type 1 in the spotlight, ensuring more people understand what it’s like to live with the condition and encourage them to become involved with the work that JDRF does.
