Set up just over a year ago by Sabrina Dawe, www.funkypumpers.co.uk came about after her 13-month old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and was put on an Insulin Pump. Sabrina found that caring for an active toddler wearing a pump was a challenge but found that a pump bag was an essential accessory to help improve the odds on keeping the pump safely attached and accessible.
All the bags are UK designed and made and are suitable for all commonly used insulin pumps in the UK including those from Medtronic, Animas and Accu-Chek. Pouches can also be used to carry CGM and PDA devices, as well as medical devices for other conditions. Available in small (16-23″ waist) or large (24-30″ waist) for about £14.
