A video broadcast on Diabetes Newshound explains how scientists are using stem cells to search for a cure for diabetes. Since President Obama lifted restrictions on stem cells, there has been a lot of talk about how stem cells might be used to find such a cure. The stem cells that are talking about are harvested from the blood of the umbilical chord.
